Which committee(s) are you interested in?
Members shall connect and collaborate with the President/CEO and Director of Business Operations (DBO) regarding their goals, intentions and perceived membership value so they may discuss how to best connect, engage and maximize their membership potential
Members will actively participate in committee meetings and projects in-order-to maximize member connection, collaboration and progress toward established goals
Members shall become familiar with the WESTMARC Strategic Plan, Legislative Agenda and the mission of the appropriate Issue Committees
Members shall make requests for Letters of Support to the President/CEO
Members shall make requests for legislative action prior to committee meetings by connecting with the committee Chairs and CEO to discuss and provide background information and details. Requests will then be: 1) heard at the next committee meeting 2) acted upon per the Legislative Agenda 3) heard by the Public Affairs Committee and the Executive Committee as required and follow appropriate recommendation
Members shall bring suggestions and requests outside the established goals of the committee or meeting agenda to the attention of: 1st) the committee Chairs, 2nd) President/CEO and DBO for consideration and further action
Please note that members that miss 3 consecutive meetings will automatically be removed from the committee roster
